Septimbor and David decided to quit their jobs, sell most of their flotsam and jetsam, and move to a remote island that could be construed as a tropical paradise. They actually had many reasons for doing this, not the least of which was simply because they could. Besides, the tropical isle is just the first pit-stop in what will hopefully be a long journey to many exotic, alien lands in which they will probably manage to get themselves into all kinds of bizarre predicaments.

The repository for the historic "Chinese Community Information Center" (IFCSS/CCIC) on the Internet. CCIC is the oldest site fully dedicated to hosting contents related to China, Chinese, Chinese overseas community, Chinese activists, Chinese culture, Chinese computing, and Chinese software since 1992. It used to be operated on behalf of IFCSS (Independent Federation of Chinese Students and Scholars), as it was known as "http://ccic.ifcss.org/".
